We are reverting the window to its previous state, not the file (the file
hasn't changed).
REOPEN = Open again
REVERT = Return to previous state
CANCEL = Pretend I never started this window
ABANDON = Lose work (same effect as cancel)
CLOSE = Make the window go away (doesn't say save or lose - app asks user)
There is no ambiguity. Please, ask a local english expert.
Here's an example against `Abandon' being used for Revert:
The dog was abandoned on the road.
This means the owners dumped their pet... but it doesn't imply they then went
and got a new one.
